Natural History Museum
A place full of historically significant curiosities to enthral its visitors.
When it comes to choosing a hotel near the Natural History Museum, few options provide both the luxuriousness and convenience of The Egerton House Hotel. Located less than a ten-minute walk from us, and within close proximity to both the Science Museum and the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum is full of curiosities to fascinate visitors of all ages: specimens collected by Charles Darwin and the Attenborough Studio are two of the most notable examples.
Join our talented barman Sahbi for an informative and enjoyable masterclass (not to mention a delicious) hour. Sahbi will begin by explaining the history and origins of martini; tell you about his background, and share his top tips for making the perfect martini for yourself. There will be the opportunity to taste the magnificent martini creations and enjoy homemade canapés of tomato and mozzarella bruschetta, smoked salmon with crushed avocado on cape seed loaf, and coronation chicken on brown bread.
Enjoy a selection of freshly cut sandwiches, including H. Forman and Son smoked salmon, free-range egg mayonnaise, Blythburgh roast ham & English mustard, cucumber & cream cheese, and Coronation chicken. Follow the sandwiches up with our home-baked scones, Battenberg, coffee and walnut cake, Lanson trifle, lemon drizzle cake, and chocolate tart.
