Schiaperelli Curator Tour: The Egerton Salon Series

Discover the visionary world of Elsa Schiaparelli through an intimate curator-led evening as part of The Egerton House Hotel Salon Series. Beginning at the Victoria and Albert Museum, just a short stroll from The Egerton House Hotel, guests will be welcomed at the Secretariat Gate on Cromwell Road before embarking on a private tour through the UK’s first exhibition dedicated to the legendary designer. Guided by an expert curator from the V&A, guests will gain deeper insight into the stories, craftsmanship and cultural significance behind some of fashion’s most iconic creations, with exclusive access to this sold-out exhibition.

Spanning from the glamour and artistic rebellion of the 1920s to the contemporary reinvention of the house under Daniel Roseberry, the exhibition explores Schiaparelli’s daring creativity, surrealist influences and enduring impact on haute couture.

As a long-standing partner of the Victoria and Albert Museum, our celebrated neighbour in the heart of South Kensington, The Egerton House Hotel has long shared a passion for art, design and cultural discovery. Home to one of the world’s most important collections of art and design, the museum offers an ever-evolving programme of landmark exhibitions spanning fashion, photography, sculpture and immersive retrospectives. Through our valued partnership, guests of The Egerton House Hotel are also able to enjoy privileged access to the V&A’s feature exhibitions throughout the year, including sought-after and sold-out showcases.

Following the private tour, return to The Egerton House Hotel for cocktails and canapés served in the elegant surroundings of the bar. Thoughtfully curated for lovers of fashion, art and design, the evening blends cultural insight with the warm, intimate hospitality of The Egerton.
