The bygone era of aristocrats living in grand country houses with hundreds of staff has been immortalised in Downton Abbey, but on this full-day tour, you can get a glimpse into the life of a country squire. The day begins at Blenheim Palace, the enormous country estate where Sir Winston Churchill was born. After exploring its grounds, we continue on to the pristine Cotswold villages of Bibury, and Bourton-on-the-Water, before taking in Bampton, a location used for the shooting of Downton Abbey.
