Working Together

Year on year since 2014 we are consistent supporters of this charity. Action Against Hunger delivers immediate lifesaving services to families in distress and works to help malnourished children all around the world.

Battersea Cats and Dogs Home is a charity close to our hearts and one that we fully support. Throughout the year we run a number of fund raising events to raise money for this particular charity.

We take great pride in sponsoring a puppy, Hattie, through Guide Dog for The Blind Association. Hattie is in her journey to become a fully-qualified guide dog and will be able to offer freedom and independence to someone with sight loss. We are very proud of our little pup and always looking forward to receiving her regular pupdates and photos. Our donations can help this fantastic organization to pay for the necessary kits and equipment to help these amazing dogs learn and grow throughout their training. Our Hattie is growing up fast and learning a lot of new things every day. She has mastered a great amount of new commands, able to assist at staircases and really got used to using public transport.

We are proud to work with The Sustainable Restaurant Association, sourcing sustainable food and managing resources more efficiently whilst working more closely with our communities.

We have been in partnership with Street Smart since 2014 in aim to raise funds towards to their Homeless Projects.

Our partnership with bio-bean allows us to recycle our coffee waste into biomass briquettes and pellets. They work with waste management partners collecting waste coffee grounds, offering commercial and environmental solutions.

Cru Kafe is a newly established local company that we started working with in 2017. Cru Kafe supplies us with coffee pods for the coffee machines in our rooms. Beside the amazing taste; ethics and environment are equally important for this Notting Hill based company. They source organic coffee beans from the best farms where growers work hard and reinvest in the community and environment around them. These coffee pods and all of their packaging are fully biodegradable

Red Carnation Hotels makes it an on-going priority to support and contribute positively to Great Ormond Street Children’s Hospital.

The Starlight Children’s Foundation creates moments of joy and comfort for seriously and terminally ill hospitalized kids and their families. Here at the hotel we place a discretionary £1 donation to each guests final room bill and The Milestone matches this donation for this wonderful charity.

We have signed up with Hospitality for Action to have our Golden friends. Golden Friends is a contact scheme for people who have worked within the hospitality industry and are now retired. It is a free scheme and is open to anyone who is over pension age and has worked within the hospitality industry in the UK for at least 7 years. We are committed to arrange regular meeting and events with our Golden Friends and just love having them visit us the hotel.

Red Carnation Hotels is proud to use Belu Water throughout their hotels.  Belu is the UK’s most eco-friendly bottled water brand and works closely with the charity WaterAid.

In partnership with ACT CleanCoat™, we will be using their effective and sustainable self-disinfection solution in our hotels, further improving the wellbeing of staff and guests.
