  • Managing Director of Red Carnation Hotels Jonathan Raggett

    Jonathan Raggett has worked in hotels since leaving Westminster College with a Higher National Diploma in Hotel Management. Jonathan joined RCH in 1998 as General Manager of The Rubens Hotel. In 2000 he was promoted to Managing Director, overseeing the rapid expansion to the thirteen international properties RCH now operate. In November 2009, Johnathan Raggett was delighted to be named Hotelier of the Year at the world-renowned Hotel Catey Annual Industry Awards organised by the Caterer & Hotelkeeper.

    "We are a family run small collection of five- and four-star hotels who fight the big chains for business. We will never have the same Sales and Marketing spend as these players, so it is my belief that we need to make an even better job of taking care of our guests."

    I joined The Egerton House Hotel in 2002. My role is to make sure the Hotel’s dedicated and personable friendly staff deliver the highest standards of service and exceed your expectations. We pride ourselves on satisfying each and every guest who walk through our welcoming doors. It will be my pleasure to welcome you to our wonderful little gem.   • Deputy General Manager Murat Deniz

    After graduating in Istanbul, I moved to London, where I studied Hotel Management, before taking my first position at The Ritz Hotel, as a Management Trainee. I have since held positions at Crowne Plaza London St James, 51 Buckingham Gate Hotel & Suites, Gloucester Park Apartments, Jumeirah Lowndes Hotel and in October I joined the Egerton.

    My responsibility here at the lovely Egerton House along with the team is to ensure that all our guests receive the very best attention, service that is second to none and an enjoyable stay that is truly memorable.

    I became a member of the Red Carnation Hotel Collection in 2001. My responsibility is to ensure that each and every one of our guests' needs are met in the most sufficient and articulated manner - whether finding the most suitable choice of restaurant or bar, recommending the hottest new shows, planning a personalised tour or just having a listening ear in those times when one is required.

    I started in the Egerton in 2005 as a receptionist.  I soon realised I loved being part of the team at such a welcoming and relaxing Hotel. I am now the Front Office Manager and it shall be my pleasure to ensure that your first and ensuing visits shall be memorable.     My career at The Egerton started in 2001 as a room attendant and I am very proud to have been promoted to Executive Housekeeper in May 2008. Our rooms are stunning and we take enourmous pride in the appearance of the rooms and the rest of the hotel. We feel this hotel is a true jewel and my team and I work very hard to keep this jewel as shiny and bright as possible.

    With over 13 years experience working within 4 and 5 star hotels in London, I had the pleasure of becoming a member of the Red Carnation team in 2007. After working for a number of International Hotel groups, I have gained an in-depth knowledge of the London Market and fully understand our international and local clients needs. Working with an eclectic mix of companies, I happily go the extra mile to ensure our guests feel that the Egerton House is their home from home.
