The Mikhailovsky Ballet only made its debut in London two years ago but in that short period of time, it established itself as one of the finest to have graced the London Coliseum's stage in recent years.
So impressive was its debut that the troupe was named among the candidates for the Best Foreign Dance Company Award at the National Dance Awards 2008, eventually losing out to the New York City Ballet.
The dancers will be hoping to go one better this year as they return to the Coliseum to deliver one of the most beautiful ballets of all time.
Swan Lake is the jewel in the Mikhailovsky Ballet's crown and the highlight of its 2010 tour and guests staying at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House Hotel are in for a treat.
