Event: London Children's Film Festival
When: Nov 21st to 29th 2009
Cinemas across London are set to host a variety of films from around the world as the next edition of the unique London Children's Film Festival returns to the capital.
The Barbican Centre, which is located just 15 minutes away from The Egerton House Hotel, will be the main venue of the showcase featuring a hard-nosed jury of children aged between seven and 11 years old.
Guests of the luxury London hotel can see the films, which this year include Spanish hit Carlitos and the Chance of a Lifetime and Dutch musical Frogs and Toads, between Saturday 21st and Sunday November 29th.
Commenting on the festival, the Guardian dubbed it "a glorious concoction of film, special events and hands-on celluloid craziness….we're so overexcited, we can't sleep".
Families attending the festival can get the luxury treatment by opting for the Egerton's Excellent Value package, which allows children up to 16 years old to stay and eat for free when sharing a room with parents.
They can also enjoy unlimited in-room movies and a games console.
