London Jazz Festival coming to town

Sonny Rollins, Chick Corea, Carla Bley, Dave Holland and Branford Marsalis are some of the big performers expected to jet into London for an annual jazz event.
The London Jazz Festival takes centre stage in the capital between November 13th and 22nd, with performances scheduled to take place at the Barbican and Royal Festival Hall.
Guests at luxury London hotel The Egerton House Hotel, which is a 21-minute taxi ride from the Barbican and just 13 minutes from the Royal Festival Hall, will not want to miss the festival.
Established jazz performers will share the stage with young artists during the event, which will also feature Latin music performances from the likes of Gilberto Gil, Roberto Fonseca and Omar Puente.
A specially commissioned project with the BBC Symphony Orchestra will also see Bela Fleck, John Scofield and Bill Frisell appear together in the festival, which is a highpoint in the UK jazz calendar.
