Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009 at Natural History Museum

Event: Wildlife Photographer of the Year 2009
Date: October 30th until April 25th

The Natural History Museum is just an eight minute walk from the luxury London hotel the Egerton House, meaning guests will not have to travel far to see the stunning collection of images that make up this year's Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition.

Now in its 45th year, the event is an international showcase for the world's most-talented photographers to display their work and be rewarded for it.

Both amateurs and professionals have an equal chance of lifting the prize, with the focus being on skill, originality, vision and knowledge of nature and luck.

For wildlife fans, this is a showcase not to be missed, with all the bright and vivid colours of nature brought to the capital to be admired.

It will give guests at Egerton House plenty to talk about while they enjoy the chilled bottle of Veuve Cliquot provided courtesy of the Get More From Your Stay package.

Those who would prefer to debate the beauties of the natural world surrounded by it could instead opt for a flask of Pimms and a picnic hamper full of treats, while other choices include traditional afternoon tea for two and £50 worth of shopping vouchers for Harrods.
