London's reputation as one of the creative capitals of the world is well established and it is events like the London Design Festival which maintain and enhance the city's standing as a centre for expression and innovation.
Now in its seventh year, the event provides an opportunity for enthusiasts, designers, manufacturers, businesses and consumers to come together to meet, exchange ideas and celebrate the great and the good of London's creative talent.
More than 200 events and activities are planned at this year's festival, including a unique poster exhibition curated by Domenic Lippa, the In Praise of Shadows exhibition curated by Jane Withers and the Wallpaper Chair Arch, which is a dramatic outdoor installation reviving a great Victorian tradition.
The festival prides itself on design initiatives which are unique and demonstrate imaginative use of materials and ideas, meaning visitors will not find items quite like them anywhere else.
