Village Fete at the V&A Museum

British designers will be heading to the Victoria and Albert (V&A) Museum next month to showcase their wares at the Village Fete event.
People staying at luxury London hotel the Egerton will flock to the Pirelli Gardens at the museum to peruse the items and perhaps pick up an item or two.
The annual event showcases a wide variety of pieces, from furniture to tea towels, with the designers also taking part in a range of competitions.
Running from July 24th to 25th, the show starts at 18:30 BST and runs until 22:00 BST on the first day, while the second day's event starts at 13:00 BST and carries on until 17:00 BST.
The Village Fete is part of the Friday Late events, which run on the final Friday of the month.
Another exhibition currently being held at the V&A is the Opulence of the Baroque, which explores the style and includes paintings, portraits, sculptures and court tapestries.
Those staying at the luxury London hotel the Egerton can get tickets to the show with the Opulence of the Baroque at the V&A package, which also includes a private tour of the hotel's own art work.
