The Festival of Model Tramways is likely to attract train enthusiasts and people who like a slightly alternative gathering.

It will be held at the Kew Bridge Steam Museum on July 18th and 19th and will feature models, materials, drawings, photographs and books on the topic.

Exhibitors who will be attending include Stepley Tramways, Walmington Pier Tramway and the Electric Railway Society, who will be showing books, maps and slides.

This year is the 21st festival and it has returned to London, after varying between the location and various venues in the north.

People can also explore the Kew Bridge Steam Museum and explore the world's largest collection of steam pumping engines and ride on London's only steam engine every Sunday from April to October.
