No fewer than seven British Prime Ministers were educated at Harrow Public School, highlighting the establishment's importance to the nation.
Founded in 1572, some of the most influential and significant figures in British history had their young minds honed and developed within its famous walls, including John Peel, Winston Churchill and Lord Byron.
The school has also produced two national kings - King Hussein of Jordan and his cousin Faisal II.
It is steeped in tradition and overseas visitors will love this example of traditional British architecture and education.
The school holds tours, some of which last for as long an hour and a half and show all of its famous rooms and halls.
Included in the experience are showings of the Fourth Form Room, the Old Speech Room Art Gallery, the Museum of Harrow Life and the Alex Fitch Room.
All of these rooms are spectacular but they are nothing like the suites at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House.
