See all the action in Wimbledon this summer

Wimbledon fever will hit the UK again this summer and tennis players and fans alike will flock to the famous London venue to watch the competition unfold.

No doubt the UK's hopes will be behind British hopefuls Andy Murray, Anne Keothavong and Laura Robson, who will be defending her junior title.

This year's Championship will see less likelihood of the British tradition of play being rained off, as the All England Lawn Tennis Club today unveiled a new retractable roof on centre court to block out the elements.

Players will be competing for a high prize of £850,000 for the men and ladies' singles competitions, with a total prize fund of £12,550,000 being at stake.

This year's event will take place between June 22nd and July 5th, with tickets on sale already.

People not able to get tickets for the main event will no doubt find a lot of action on Henman Hill, where people gather to watch the competition unfold, complete with a bowl of strawberries and cream.

Those wanting to relax after the day's event can lay their head at the luxury London hotel The Egerton.
