Event: All the Fun at The Fair
Date: February 3rd until February 7th
Audiences at the New Wimbledon Theatre can expect a rollercoaster ride when David Essex and Boogie Nights creator Jon Conway bring All the Fun of the Fair to the stage in February.
Inspired by the former's 1975 album of the same title, the production is packed full of wonderful songs including Winter's Tale, Gonna Make You a Star and Me and My Girl Nightclubbing.
Essex plays Levi Lee, a recently-widowed funfair owner who has his hands full with a teenage son who finds it impossible to stick to the straight and narrow.
Things deteriorate further for the unfortunate boss, as the predictions of woe and torment predicted by a gypsy fortune teller begin to come true.
Gangsters, women and bad luck beset our hero and behind the dodgems, fairground rides and candy floss lurks a tale of deception, lust and crossed wires.
All the fun need not be had at the fair though, as guests at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House can find plenty of entertainment in this fabulous establishment.
Couples on a romantic break can opt for the Egerton Sparkle package which includes champagne on arrival, a full English breakfast and complimentary passes to the LA Fitness Health Club.
