Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea at Battersea Arts Centre

A series of fractured fairytales will be told in the capital this winter when the 1927 company brings its dark Between the Devil and the Deep Blue Sea production to London.

The show thrilled onlookers at the Edinburgh Fringe festival in 2007, where audiences enjoyed a collection of stories delivered via live music, animation, cabaret and silent film.

An eerie piano score plays as a series of comic vignettes unfold on stage, where a range of different characters meet their maker in various different ways, from being struck by lightning to being deep fried.

Clever wit and a sinister story telling will deliver a 55-minute show which is sure to leave audiences impressed.

Following the show, visitors can look forward to a night of comfort and elegance by staying in a suite at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House.

As the show is less than an hour long, there will be time afterwards for couples to enjoy some quality time together and by opting for the Romantically package, guests can look forward to a bottle of champagne, a bouquet of red roses and a full English breakfast each day.
