Winter Slopes at the O2

Those whose holiday to the Alps this year never materialised can console themselves with the news the O2 arena is to host an indoor artificial ski slope.

Following on from The Beach and Ice Disco events earlier in the year, the venue will provide the perfect facilities for enthusiasts or beginners to snowboard, ski or snow tube.

There will be help at hand for people with little experience, with the Warren Smith Ski Academy providing hints and tips to ensure everybody enjoys their time in a safe manner.

Equipment will not be an issue either as manufacturers K2 will be present to supply top-of-the-range tackle.

Couples looking for a weekend away with a difference may enjoy taking to the slopes and once they have finished, they can relax in warmth and comfort in a suite at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House hotel.

The establishment's Romantically package will provide lovers with a full English breakfast to start each day, a bottle of champagne on arrival as well as a bouquet of red roses.
