Event: Body Worlds & the Mirror of Time
Date: October 24th until August 23rd
Dr Gunter von Hagens is bringing his Body Worlds and the Mirror of Time exhibition to the capital next month to give people an in-depth tour of the human body and what happens during the ageing process.
The show will highlight the body's strength and resilience while also displaying its vulnerability during episodes of disease, distress and health.
Visitors will be taken on a journey of ageing and how humans develop over time from conception to old age, refracted through the latest findings in longevity and ageing science.
More than 200 plastinates-specimens preserved through Dr von Hagens' scientific process will be included in the exhibition showing, not just the ageing process in humans but in animals as well.
David Campbell, chief executive of AEG Europe, said the show will one of the main draws to the capital.
"The new seminal exhibition from Gunther von Hagens will no doubt become one of London's must see attractions and will appeal to anyone interested in how their body works," he stated.
With that in mind comfortable accommodation is likely to be in high demand.
Those interested in attending the exhibition could make their experience a memorable one with a stay at the luxury London hotel the Egerton House hotel.
With the Get More From Your Stay package guests can look forward to a bottle of Veuve Clicquot presented on their arrival to the hotel, in addition to traditional afternoon tea on one day and two adult tickets to the Tower of London and a London Bus Tour.
