Fans of iconic band The Beach Boys will not want to miss seeing Brian Wilson when he performs at the Royal Albert Hall this July.

Guests staying at luxury London hotel the Egerton can watch the songwriter, bassist and singer perform on July 1st 2008 alongside his ten-piece band.

When he played with The Beach Boys in the 1960s, Wilson was the band's main producer, composer and arranger and his performance at the Royal Albert Hall this summer will include many of his compositions.

In 1988, Wilson stepped out on his own as a solo artist, following a period of reported mental illness and the July performance will be his first at the renowned Hall.

According to LondonTown, Brian Wilson did not make it through this period of mental breakdown "unscathed".

Describing his voice as "hardened" since the days of Pet Sounds, the site also concedes that "the talent is still definitely there", predicting that tickets will sell fast for this concert.
