Peter Pan - El Musical

An unusual adaptation of the JM Barrie children's tale is coming to the Garrick Theatre next month, and could appeal to families staying at luxury London hotel the Egerton.

Peter Pan - El Musical is transferring to the UK stage after a successful run in Spain and will play from March 28th until April 27th 2008.

The Spanish musical features the memorable Peter Pan characters including Pan himself, Wendy, Tinkerbell and the villainous Captain Hook.

In a twist on the fairytale, Peter Pan - El Musical is performed entirely in Spanish, but non-Spanish speakers attending from nearby luxury London hotel the Egerton need not worry as an English translation will be projected above the stage.

A cast of 25 - featuring Spanish musical theatre star Miguel Angel Gamero - will perform 14 original songs.

The musical remains faithful to the original story and tells the tale of Peter Pan and the Lost Boys of Neverland as he befriends the Darling children Wendy, John and Michael.
